- Aims:
The conference follows on from the successful meetings held in Paris
in 2002 and in Oxford in 2005. It aims to bring together researchers
from universities and research labs to discuss the state of the art
for multi-material hydrodynamics simulations. It will focus on
relevant numerical methods, analysis of these methods and modeling of
complex multi-material flows which is essential for research dealing
with new sources of energy as inertial confinement fusion.
Topics to be covered include mathematical and physical aspects of
- Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) methods
- Eulerian Methods
- Mesh Free Methods
- Material interface modelling
- Multiphase flow
- Radiation Hydrodynamics
- Important dates:
April 10, 2007 - deadline for abstracts (extended by a month from original deadline March 10, 2007)
May 10, 2007 - decision on acceptance
July 9, 2007 - deadline for early registration - Program:
Conference program is available
here.
- Talks:
All speakers will have 30 minutes for each talk including discussion
and changing of speakers. Lecture hall will be equiped with
dataprojector, PC with Linux, PC with Windows, overhead projector and
laser pointer. Speakers can send their presentation in advance by e-mail.
Speaker's responsibility remains to
check during breaks that presentation displays correctly or her/his
laptop works correctly with the dataprojector.
- Preregistration:
If you plan to attend, please
preregister yourself
(web forms are on aldebaran server) and you will get further
announcements by e-mail.
After successful preregistration you will get PIN in your browser
window and in the confirmation e-mail. Please save the PIN, you will
need it for abstract upload and final registration.
If you lost your PIN e-mail us
and we will send you your PIN back.
The final registration will be opened in March 2007.
- Final registration: The early registration fee is
7 500 CZK to be paid by the wire transfer to the university account till
July 9, 2007. For early registration please wire the early
registration fee first, as described in the
payment description, then fill
and submit the
final registration form.
The full standard registration fee is 9 000 CZK. For standard registration please fill and submit the final registration form.
The registration fee covers conference expenses including welcome party on Monday night at restaurant Manes and conference garden raut on Thursday night at restaurant Petrinske terasy with outlook to Prague Castle and Old Town.
- Accompanying persons: The registration fee for the
accompanying persons will be 2000 CZK, to be paid at the
registration, and will include welcome party and conference raut.
Please make reservation for accompanying persons by e-mail
soon, however no later than
Sept 3, 2007, we need to know number of people for party and raut in
advance.
- Abstracts submission:
For your abstract please use the templates in
openoffice,

word,
tex
or
plain text,
follow the instructions in the template and
upload
your abstract in one of these formats.
You have to preregister to get your PIN before uploading your abstract.
